I'm 5' 6 , about 148 lbs. Typically wear a size 10-12 in pants/shorts. The large fit exactly like i expected, snug but not tight around the butt-ish area, legs a little looser so they weren't constantly riding up my inner thigh.I also ordered a pair in XL just to see the difference. I like the way they fit too. I needed to tie the drawstring a little tighter on the XL pair. (Totally didn't need the drawstring on the Large pair.) They don't make you look like an old-lady, they're just a pair of nylon short

Great fit and feel! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a casual pair of shorts. The stretch denim is soft and the front pocket liners stick out of the bottom after you sit for a while, but I like that. Plus, you can just pull the shorts down in the front after sitting and you are ready to go.

These pants are very comfortable and fit very well. I’m 5’5” and wear a size 12 - sometimes short, sometimes medium.
