This is a nice, modest day dress, with a good amount of stretch in the material. (Read: works for those curves on top.) Not quite an empire waist, as it almost hits at my natural waist, but I have a short torso. Long enough in size medium to hit right below my knees (I'm 5'2). I am 5’7” 135 lbs. medium was perfect. Hits just at top of knee. Flows nicely and the slight empire waist hides some rolls. I am very happy with this dress.
