Full disclosure - this review is heavily informed by my spouse, who has a much better sense of both women's fashion and a history of actually wearing women's clothes than I possess:Women's western denim jackets sure have come a long way! I remember wearing a Wrangler denim jacket when I was younger and it was as heavy and stiff as jeans were then, but it was still a fashion item so we wore them anyway. This sweater is so warm! It’s also not too thick or poofy, so it’s casual and dressy. It’s a little longer than I imagined, should’ve gone down a size (xs) , but it is perfect if layering. Although it’s warm enough I haven’t layered but it also hasn’t snowed yet. Completely recommend

I went up a size to accomodate my bust, it seems to have worked out well as the jacket fits well without being tight across the chest. I may get the waist tailored to fit a bit more snug. The jacket itself is a thin stretchy denim, comfortable and flattering.

Quite good sweater, thus far. Heavy weight with good, warm lining. The medium is perfect for me at 5'3 and 115 lbs, there's plenty of room for layering - even wearing another bulky sweater underneath. Worked well with a light sweater when temps were in the upper 30s with moderate Arizona winds. I'm sensitive to cold, so this impressed me. NOT recommended for wet and stormy conditions - it's supposed to be hand washable, but it will probably weigh a ton when wet and take ages to dry (have yet to attempt thi
